Yay! First blog post ever!

I figured I'll just post about what has recently taken over (the majority) of my life... my personal fitness.

I just signed up for Blogilates' (Cassey's) Dietbet (bet?). Chipped in my $25 to bet that I can lose 4% of my body weight in a month! I wish the Dietbet would bet losing body FAT instead of body weight, but still it's a good way for people to kick-start their path to a healthier body.

I've already started to walk to work when possible (the weather just has not been cooperating) and eating clean(er) homemade food. Also, I have been cutting out soft drinks and juice (but it's so hard when you're going out to eat! It's a terrible habit of mine to order soft drinks or Limonata when I'm out). But for this month, I will try my best to only drink water and tea.

I'll be keeping track of my daily food intake and exercise on MyFitnessPal.com. It's a great site (and app) to help you keep track. You might be amazed at how much food you actually eat each day!.
